Get your hard hats on and head to the construction zone! Children of all ages can take on the role of architect, engineers, and contractors as they use tools provided for developmental free play. This area allows parents or caregivers an opportunity to interact one-on-one with children as they demonstrate their building skills. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) are the focus areas of learning here.
Construction Zone 1: Children use lifelike forklifts to pick up blocks for the construction site. Toy hard hats, safety goggles, drills and other realistic tools are provided for little craftsmen to work on a playhouse under construction.
Construction Zone 2: In this area junior engineers can design, build, and create structures using Legos, Natural wood blocks, K’nex building sets, and Magnatiles.
