About Our Executive Director

Kimberly DeLape is a philanthropic leader, business strategist, and creative director with a passion for strengthening organizations through vision, collaboration, and thoughtful stewardship. As Executive Director of the Children’s Museum of the Shoals, she is leading a comprehensive rebranding and revitalization that has expanded community partnerships, enhanced exhibits and programming, and secured new funding opportunities.

With a background in nonprofit leadership, publishing, branding, and community engagement, Kimberly combines strategic leadership with creative vision to help organizations thrive. She believes that when creativity and purpose work together, organizations become powerful catalysts for lasting community impact. Kimberly is committed to creating an inspiring, welcoming environment where children and families can learn, explore, and discover together while ensuring the museum remains a vibrant resource for the Shoals community
