Dr. Eric Kirkman is a dedicated educator, administrator, and accomplished musician who serves as Director of Kilby Laboratory School in Florence, Alabama. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama in 1997. With more than two decades of experience in education, he is widely recognized for his leadership and innovation in S.T.E.A.M. learning. Prior to his current role, he was the award-winning director of Sheffield High School’s renowned “Sound of the Shoals” marching band. Dr. Kirkman is passionate about inspiring students, empowering educators, and strengthening the Shoals community through excellence in education.
